The Seychelles and China once again celebrate the historical and cultural links with the third annual China Day festival.
The festival, which coincides with the Chinese New Year on Monday, February 8, started with a celebration full of colours and sounds at Eden Bleu on the eastern coast of Mahe, the archipelago’s main island.
This year Seychelles and China are also celebrating 40 years of bilateral relations.
The highlight for this year is the performance of the Chinese group Shanxi together with dancers from the Seychelles’ school of dance.
The Seychelles-China day ends Saturday with a Chinese Bazaar on the grounds of the National Library building.
SNA brings you the Shanxi performance in pictures.
