Man found dead at his residence on Seychelles island of Praslin, says Police

(Seychelles News Agency) - The Seychelles Police is investigating the death of a 24 year old man from the archipelago’s second most populated island of Praslin.

According to a Police statement issued this afternoon, the Seychellois man, Mathew Suzette, was found dead at his residence at Cote D’or, this morning at around 7am local time.

“It was his mother who informed the Police of this finding. Suzette who was staying alone was found motionless in his bedroom and was certified dead by doctor at the Baie Ste Anne hospital,” reads the statement.

According to the Police Suzette who worked at the Paradise Sun Hotel was last seen alive two days ago.

“It is presumed that he could have died sometimes between Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday.”

An autopsy is being carried out to establish the cause of death.
