(Seychelles News Agency) - Mason’s Travel has been declared the best tour operator in Seychelles by the Luxury Travel Guide 2017, the company said.

The tour operator will be featured in this year’s edition of the Luxury Travel Guide - Middle East and Africa.

The Luxury Travel Guide Awards recognise and celebrate the best hotels, airlines and services in the world’s travel and tourism industry.

“We’re thoroughly excited about the prospects of being featured in such a widespread and internationally recognised platform,” said Nicole St. Ange, Public Relations, Branding and Communication Manager of Mason’s Group.

St. Ange added that Seychelles can be a complex destination for visitors, and that generally speaking inbound tour operators in the country do an excellent job of making things easier for customers and travellers.

Winners of the award are chosen by a team of experts from the Luxury Travel Guide, based on their most recent achievements, success and innovations.

St. Ange attributes this award to the way the Mason’s team has been able to adapt to the trends and demands of clients in the ever-changing world of travel.

“Our focus has always been to ‘deliver the Seychelles experience’. What sets us apart is our ability to prioritise our guests and adhere to their requests,” said St. Ange.

She added that “this year we were the only DMC (Destination Management Company) to add two Porsche Cayenne Hybrids to our fleet in line with our vision of reducing our carbon footprint.”

Mason’s Travel was established in 1972 and is one of the leading destination management companies in the 115-island archipelago in the western Indian Ocean.

The company has dedicated offices on Seychelles' three main islands, Mahe, Praslin and La Digue and offers excursions, island hopping, transfers, accommodation booking and private tours. It also organises and plans wedding and conferences.
